Autumn’s Approach

Summer is officially over, though the sun still shines here in Deadville and surrounding areas.

Monday is our ‘day off’. So we often take ourselves off out for the day, often to a seaside town within reasonable distance.

Today was no exception.

We took a drive to the Suffolk coastal town of Walberswick. Surprisingly, we hadn’t  been here before, despite living in Suffolk for nearly half a decade.

And, like so many towns on the East Coast it really is pretty. Very quiet too, which is always a bonus after the summer holidays. 😉

We didn’t  do anything fancy, a strong along the seafront, a stroll through the surrounding marshland and a pub lunch.

Winter will be chasing our heels before long and we intend to make the most of Summer’s dying days.
