Meaning ‘mud month’, and apparently the Old English name for February.

I like it, it is literal and apt.


The weather may be shite, but it is the month to share the love, metaphorically, not literally speaking of course.


Flowers, Champagne and a Friday night together…can’t argue with that!


It’s also the beginning of the school half term holiday.

My girls are off to Italy tomorrow, and the littleys are kicking it off with a party this afternoon.


The rest of the week we have planned some weather appropriate fun and games with friends and family, alongside the usual day trips (courtesy of Mr H).
